I still don't feel this card is strong enough. For CCC mana I expect more than this.

Even then its still kind of meh. If I'm hitting white this hard I want lots of utility and possibly card advantage.

Perhaps a modal spell?

I was just about to say the same thing as reaper! I think that's pretty fair.
I like this card more than most people seemed to, but I don't know if it will make it in the end as slots get filled up. But for now it's fine.

I like the idea of a modal spell too, but maybe with different modes.

Thoughts? For such a heavy-white cost, it should have a major upside.

I like Pringles' modal idea. I don't think there needs to be a drawback on the creature mode, though (at that point, you could just say "Exile two non-land permanents that do not share a type"). Unfortunately, that makes a problem in that you need two targets that aren't lands.

Another powerful mode could be "Lands target player controls don't untap during their controller's next untap step." Or the same for creatures instead.

lands not untapping really doesn't make sense on a card named "bannish"

No, but the name isn't set in stone. You could move that name to one of the one-mana removal spells, where it would always fit.
