Counter target spell. If that spell is countered this way, exile it instead of putting it into its owner's graveyard, and its owner adds mana to his or her mana pool equal to the mana cost of that spell.

Unlike Mana Drain (in real Cubes) and Flourishing Thoughts (in this Cube), this immediately adds mana, which makes it better at countering instants than it is at countering other spells. I think that's kind of neat, but I can see how it could cause confusion.
