At the beginning of your upkeep, put a 2/2 black Zombie creature token onto the battlefield.
At the end of your turn, you lose 1 life for each Zombie on the battlefield.

The only thing I don't like is that it's a little slow, since you don't get one when it EtB.

Compared to Bitterblossom, not making a token ETB should be just fine.

I think this might be horrifyingly powerful unless land based creature standstills where you can't suicide your Zombies to avoid losing life happen often. Definitely interesting one.

I think it's fast enough, very "all in". I think we'll need some cards that interact with this one very nicely.

It's not really 'all-in' unless you're winning with your Zombie horde anyway (them not dying). If you just swing into blocker or block yourself and trade you don't lose that much life and may gain huge benefits. I really really really can't wait to see how this works live, it already interacts with almost everything in my opinion... not single cards specifically but game states.
