Simply a colorless Horizon Canopy that doesn't ping you. I like the idea of it costing 2 to draw a card. That way you are "cycling" it from play like Yavimaya Elder. Which is pretty Elegant.

Why not just 2, Sacrifice? Wouldn't that be more elegant?

In any case, I like it.

If it was just 2, Sacrifice: You could tap it for one mana to pay for itself. Which is really awkward imo.

True enough, it might be slightly jarring.

I think Lanxal's idea is unusual for a land. I enjoy the card a ton as originally posted because there aren't many uses for "2, Sac ~: Draw a card" that aren't almost the same thing as "1, T, Sac ~: Draw a card" especially on a colorless land.

I like this card a lot, and I too prefer 1, T, Sac.

The only problem is that the name is already used (that thing from Eventide that lets you draw a Plains every turn).
